This Web site is the first phase in the delivery of a NSW Government initiative to provide comprehensive online services for NSW Government licences, registrations, certificates and permits. Services for NSW business and occupational licence holders will come on line progressively, providing an additional option to traditional counter, telephone and postal services.

The objective of this initiative is to improve the quality and timeliness of licence processing to benefit businesses, individual licence holders and government and reduce the ‘paper warfare’ particularly for small business.

As well as maintaining the integrity, quality and probity of the State’s licensing services, it will increase consumer protection.

This Web site will allow online lodgement of renewals and change of particulars for:

• Business name registrations from 10 January 2003
• Licences of travel agents, motor dealers, pawnbrokers and second-hand dealers from 28 February 2003

You can make a payment using Bankcard, MasterCard or Visa and you will receive a discount for lodging online. To initially access the Web site you will need a unique confidential reference number, either printed on a renewal form mailed to you by the Office of Fair Trading or by:

• Requesting a business name registration reference number on 133220.
• Requesting a business licence reference number on 02 9372 9290.
